Hudson Thames brings back the art of musical storytelling with his unique style of piano driven soul and pop polish. Growing up in Los Angeles among a family of creatives, Hudson learned to sing, act, and play piano at a young age and spent his adolescent years adventuring in the eccentric comings and goings of the California Valley. Through sonic inspiration from legends like Bill Withers and Billy Joel and personal influences such as Hudson’s father, a Mississippi native and blues pianist, his grandmother Connie Stevens, an Italian singer/actress of the old Hollywood era, and Hudson’s “Ratpack” gang of friends Hudson creates multifaceted bodies of work with intense attention to detail and musical maturity while still making you want to dance and drink whiskey.
